I started my career in Silicon Valley in the offices of Google, and VeriSign, where I worked in Corporate Marketing. From there, I moved to Spain for a decade, and became certified in olive oil (via the Escuela Española de Cata) and in wine (WSET Level 3). Now based in Sacramento, I’ve worked for various up-and-coming businesses — many wine-, food- or olive oil-related — managing everything from events to PR, marketing, social media and more.

Apart from my marketing work, I devote part of my time to wine production at Miraflores Winery, where I learn the ins and outs of making the fuel that sustains me. I’m also a member of the Applied Sensory Olive Oil Panel, and serve as an apprentice judge for the California State Fair olive oil competition.
